I am currently working on my application to a teaching fellows org in the big easy and I am stumped on those stupid questions about why you want to be a teacher blah blah. I keep writing and erasing the same generic responses.

Obvs, the answer for distraction inspiration is Tumblr.

But speaking of teaching, I haven’t told you guys how AMAZE my spring placement is. I feel blessed blessed blessed blessed every morning when I walk in. Not only is it an amazing middle school, but I’ve been getting to do some awesome stuff with the kids!

I COULD geek out and tell you all about my psychological motivators, enactment strategies, Atwell reading workshops, and Lemov techniques that are at work BUT I shall spare you. But know that it is awesome, and hopefully one day when I’m teaching your childrens, I’ll be better at it because of this placement. 

I wish I could streamline all of that into a professional sounding response for my application, but alas. Can’t do it ya’ll.
