Like I said.
It took me about an hour to call out of work today, because finding someone to cover for me was ridiculous. Everyone (myself included, as why I was calling out) has some variation of flu-like symptoms. If you like me, are currently sitting in sweats, Uggs, and a jacket and shivering with sickie-ness, online shop. It’s the chicken soup of today.
My favorite mints have released previews of their January collections.

1. Cowboy Boots

I know, I am WAY behind the band wagon on this one. WAY BEHIND. But I am just NOT a cowboy boots kind of girl. But my best friend is getting married a few weeks after me, and she wants all her bridesmaids donning cowboy boots. So instead of waiting until her summer wedding to get my first pair, why not get them in fall when they’ll have plenty of wear-time? And I can finally try this trend? Right? Yes? NEED? YES????
2. Red Jeans

Oh boy. I want them so bad. Every fashion blog/magazine/entertainment show seems to feature someone in them looking awesome. Case in point, Rachel Bilson. But I’ve been making myself do this thing to curb my shopping appetite where I have to think of at least 4 things I ALREADY HAVE that I could wear with a certain piece. I can’t come up with any good pairings for red jeans in my existing wardrobe (although I can think of a lot of things I’d like to buy to wear with them..)
Also the last time I bought trendy/statement jeans also known as skinny camo cargos I wore them all of one time.
3. Poncho

Because, who doesn’t want a poncho? But when does one wear one? Lounging around the house? Going out on the town? Or is it more of a going out to dinner with your girlfriends type thing? Or for a family gathering such as Thanksgiving? Ponchos really confuse me. But at the same time I’m fascinated by them. And I’ve never met a slouchy sweater I didn’t like.
And would you look at that, THIS Loft poncho pairs quite nicely with RED JEANS. Probably cowboy boots too. This post isn’t helping me want to shop and spend money I don’t have any less.
4. Kate Spade iPhone Case

I know. That was probably a lot more white girl problems then you were prepared for. Kate Spade + iPhone + blogging about it. I KNOW. But one time an Apple man told me that Kate Spade was the nicest non-Otterbox available. And I am over the bulky Otterbox cases I always have. Plus they keep breaking (/my puppy keeps eating the rubber part) and then I’m out another $50 for another bulky, ugly case. And this is really the only Kate Spade product I can (kind of) afford. And it’s polka dotty and PRESH.
The only problem is I drop my iPhone like 17000 times a day, sometimes (lots of times) in water. The ugly, bulky Otterboxes are more or less a necessity if I want a working iPhone.
C’est la white girl problems.
